My daughter has been attending this daycare for the past three years, and I honestly could not recommend this centre highly enough. The educators are warm, engaged, attentive, and genuinely caring. Many of the staff have been there for a long time, which really speaks volumes about the centre and the positive environment they have created.

The communication from both the educators and office staff has always been exceptional, and we have always felt supported and informed. My daughter will be heading off to big school next year, and we will be so sad to leave, as this centre has been such a positive and important part of her life.

I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone who values a nurturing, supportive, and welcoming environment for their child.

Our son attended Robina First for 3 y, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience we ALL gained. From the day he started to the day they had their little graduation, the place was always filled with warmth, support and care. Teachers in Mabo helped us so much at the beginning each morning to settle him with cuddles and kind words. It feels like family from the moment you walk in, its small, all the teachers know all the kids, the way the classrooms are set up next to each other. Place has a playground my son absolutely loved, it was always neat and tidy with plenty of toys and Miss Adriana and Miss Jan put lots of work managing the place to run smooth.
Great educators & amazing support staff, they all have made this experience truly special. Thanks x

My two kids have been attending Robina First since 2021. The staff are consistent, attentive, and caring. It’s also not a very big daycare, which contributes to the high-quality service :-)

Outstanding centre run by none better than Miss Grandma Jan! As our daughter starts Prep this year, my wife and I would like to thank all the awesome staff who have been apart of our daughters journey these past 3 years, she moves up to school very well prepared due to the excellent curriculum and educational programs run here. The staff have been incredibly kind and caring, and the children are always happy. This positive atmosphere is a testament to the leadership of Miss Jan and Miss Adrianna. Thank you, team! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for quality care.

Robina first is so much more than just a childcare centre, they are a family. One we are so lucky & thankful to be a part of. They have helped bring our boy up to be the most beautiful, happy, loving little man we could’ve ever asked for & we are so lucky to have our little girl there now too. Our children have/are always so well cared for by this amazing team & Miss Jan has always gone above & beyond to help since we first met 8 years ago. We will be forever grateful for the love, support & nurturing our babies have received throughout this time in their lives. Can’t recommend Robina First highly enough 🩷

Our daughter has attended Robina First Early Learning Centre for several years and we have been highly impressed with the service. The educators are knowledgeable, kind and hardworking. We love the various activities that they organise for the kids.

Both of my boys have attended Robina First over the last three and a half years, and we've had a wonderful experience. The staff are lovely and genuinely caring, always making sure the kids feel supported and valued. Our 4 year old son has been attending Robina First Early Learning since he was 17 months. He’s moved through every room, with educators who have been loyal staff to the center for many years who are warm, nurturing and professional - you can tell they have a genuine love and passion for their job. They create amazing activities each day and are always going out of their way to keep the children engaged. The center is managed by a beautiful soul, Miss Jan who has been extremely kind, patient and nurturing to our son who cried at drop off for almost 2 years straight. I feel confident and at ease knowing my son is in such capable & professional hands. Highly recommend this childcare for any parent looking for a supportive, caring, and enriching environment for their little ones!

We absolutely love this centre and all of the staff are just so great! I found it really difficult to find a centre that I was comfortable leaving my daughter, we toured so many centres and we were about to give up when someone recommended Robina First!! So glad they did because we could not be happier. My daughter loves going to kindy each day and the staff have always been so kind and supportive. The centre always feels so calm to come into and have long standing staff which is also great! The kids are very well cared for, educational programs are very well planned, we’re super grateful for this space 🙏🏼 Thank you Robina First Team!!

Do you offer extra-curricular activities?

Yes! We have a fantastic weekly program of enrichment activities. On Tuesdays our kindergarten children enjoy Yoga, Wednesdays we have Creative Dancing, Thursdays is Tennis Coaching, and on Fridays we play Soccer and team sports. These programs are designed to build confidence, coordination, and a love of movement.

Can we visit the centre before my child starts?

Absolutely — we highly encourage it! We invite all new families to come in for a playdate so your child can get comfortable in their new environment. We recommend visiting between 9am and 11:30am, when you'll experience outdoor play, morning tea, indoor exploration, and quality time with our educators. It makes settling in so much smoother for everyone.

What should my child wear to childcare?

We recommend comfortable, play-ready clothing that can handle a bit of creative mess — because great learning often gets messy! As a SunSmart centre, we also encourage tops with sleeves to protect little arms during outdoor play. We provide sunscreen throughout the day, but feel free to apply some before drop-off too.

Are meals provided throughout the day?

Yes! We provide morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea every day. Our menus rotate weekly and celebrate a variety of food styles and multicultural influences. Every menu includes a generous selection of fresh fruit and is prepared using wholemeal flour and grains with minimal salt and sugar. All meals are nut, egg, and pork free, and we happily cater for children with allergies or specific dietary needs.

What do I need to bring for my child each day?

Here's a handy daily checklist: a named drink bottle, a spare set of clothes, nappies (if needed), nappy cream with a chemist label attached, any comfort item (dummy, teddy, etc.), and a fitted sheet and blanket packed inside a separate bag (a canvas bag, pillowcase, or drawstring bag works perfectly). Labelling everything makes it much easier for our team to keep track!
