Our Menu

Menus are designed to comply with criteria set by Australian Dietary Guidelines, Get up and Grown and The Australia Guide to Healthy Eating. Menus are rotated weekly and provide varying food styles and multicultural influences. All menus include a large selection of fresh fruit with morning and afternoon teas, as well as steamed vegetables and hot lunches. Menu items are nut, egg and pork free and made with a high percentage of wholemeal flour and grains with minimal salt and sugar added.

The centre has a Healthy Eating Policy which staff encourage through experiences and discussions incorporated into the program. Mealtimes are celebrated as a social occasion and staff sit with the children at meal times to role model healthy eating and discuss healthy eating choices. Children are encouraged to drink water throughout the day and water is accessible at all times.

Allergy Aware

Our Robina childcare staff have been trained recognise and respond to the signs and symptoms of an allergic reactions and have specialised training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis. Our menu items are nut, egg and pork free and tailor made menus are created for children with individual allergies and intolerances based on information provided by families.
