Monash Program (3 – 5 years)
The "Pre-Prep" Room This is the final step before "Big School." Our goal in the Monash room is simple: to send your child off to school feeling strong, capable, and full of self-belief.
What your child experiences:
Confidence Building: We focus on social confidence—helping them make friends, share, and express their own ideas.
Creative Expression: It’s not just desk work! We explore art, dance, and dramatic play to help them express themselves.
School Transition: We gently introduce the routines and expectations of school, so when Day 1 comes, they know exactly what to do.
The Learning Focus: Government Approved Kindergarten This room operates a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program. This means we aren't just "playing"; we are following a specific curriculum designed to equip them for life.
Communication: We teach them to use language to communicate complex ideas and feelings (vital for the classroom).
New Experiences: We push their boundaries gently to explore new ideas and build knowledge.
Eligibility: To participate in the government-subsidised program, your child usually needs to be 4 years old by 30 June in the year they are enrolled. (Not sure? Ask us for the Kindy Calculator!).
Why Sir John Monash? "Equip yourself for life... for the benefit of the whole community."
We named this room after Sir John Monash, a brilliant engineer and military commander. He was a man of intellect and hard work.
For our room: He represents the power of Education.
For your child: Monash believed in using your skills to improve the community. We want to inspire your child to be their best self—not just for them, but for everyone around them.
