Rock N Slide Skateboarding

Rock n Slide Skateboarding run Day Tours, Group Sessions and Private Sessions over the holidays.
Their day tours are 9 hours on the RockNSlide bus touring the Gold Coast and Northern NSW skateparks with head coach and professional skateboarder Jesse Noonan.
Rock n Slide are also running free short coaching session, demos, skate jam, BBQ, raffle and games on Saturday 18th Jan as part of the Division 11- Active and Healthy Holiday Program

Group sessions for beginner & intermediate are a 1 hour session. These are run at Pizzey Park and Tugun. Private sessions can cater up to 3 participants and can be a great way to build confidence before the group sessions.
Farm Kids
The Farm Byron Bay
Although, not technically on the Gold Coast, these wholesome workshops are educational, hands on and fun! Kids can become mini farmers and get set to work doing farm chores or smell and taste edible flowers and learn about companion planting.
In the Farm Kids Bee Workshop they learn how traditional hives work, cook honey pikelets, taste honeycomb and make bees wax candles or they could paint a pot, plant medicinal herb seeds and make cute little soaps with essential oils, herbs and flower petals in the Medicinal Herbs Workshop.

These workshops give kids opportunities to cook, create and see where food comes from as well as experience countless opportunities to learn about teamwork, community, and ethical farming practices.
EMF Jnr

Each day consists of a planned activity, from arts & crafts, a reptile encounter and a Santa visit, followed by a fun group fitness class!
Normal classes run Monday-Saturday for members and have Supervised Play sessions where parents can drop their children off. Classes are also only available to EMF Jnr members. Memberships start from as low as $18.95/week per child. Supervised Play sessions have limited places for non-EMF Jnr members.

Stunt Park

Give the kids the opportunity to find out what it is like to be a stunt performer, spy, gladiator, or action movie star!
The next School Holiday full day is on Tuesday Jan 7th, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The exciting day includes, ninja obstacle course, flying on wires, filmed fight scene, swordplay, high falls onto the airbag, driving our stunt car (with instructor in control), tumbling, trampoline and action scene. BYO lunch.
The other program is a 4 week course, every Sat at 12noon till 1.15pm, starting Feb 8th. They always run the Ninja obstacles to develop their coordination, strength and fitness, and add a different activity each week.

Crazy Cat Cafe

You might not have heard of a Cat Cafe, but the concept has taken off all over the world – the cats are residents to the café and customers come in to enjoy their company.
The idea is to offer feline company and an opportunity to meet the friendliest breeds. In the cat lounge area where you can sit and read, cuddle the cats. For food hygiene reasons, the kitchen and café area are separated from the cat lounge by an air lock double door system. All of their food and drinks are prepared in a 100% cat-free environment
You can go an enjoy some 'me time' whilst the kids get their craft on! Aside from making new friends, your kid's will be empowered with a wide variety of creative skills.
